Jenn's unique Positive Reinforcement Puppy Board and Train Program is one of the only boarding programs in Denver that specializes in building a foundation for developing puppies between 10 weeks and 18 weeks of age.

What to Expect

A Safe Home Environment

While enrolled in Puppy Board and Train, your puppy will live comfortably at home with expert trainer and puppy behavior specialist Jenn Fantasia - receiving 24/7 training, love, and care. Puppies enjoy supervised access to the house and yard, and bedtime spent in the safety of their personal crate. Your puppy will be treated as part of the family, enjoy plenty of supervised playtime, and experience age-appropriate socialization opportunities that might include exploration strolls through the neighborhood, brewery hang outs, and/or visits to stores like Home Depot or Nick's Garden Center.

Individualized Attention

Puppy Board and Train is limited to no more than TWO puppies at a time to ensure that each one gets plenty of love, attention, and top-notch personalized training!

Positive, Reward-Based Training

Jenn insists upon treating animals with kindness, so your puppy will be consistently rewarded with food, toys, bones, or attention as they learn new behavior cues. Your puppy will receive at least six daily training sessions to meet your specified goals, in addition to consistent reinforcement of polite household manners. Here are some examples of what your puppy will practice during their stay:

Crate Training
Potty Training / Bell Training
Appropriate Chewing
Jumping and Polite Greetings
Puppy Biting and Polite Play
Socialization with dogs and people
Positive exposure to new environments
Waiting politely for food and doorways
Impulse Control (a.k.a. Patience!)
Foundational Obedience Cues
- Behaviors may include: sit, down, touch, stay, name recognition, kennel up, wait, release, come when called, leave it, drop it, and more!
- Longer enrollment periods will allow for more behavior cues to be taught.

Photos and Video Updates

While your puppy is enrolled in Board and Train, you will receive photos, texts, and regular training video updates of your puppy's progress! You are always welcome to contact Jenn directly to check in on your fur-baby.

Completion Consultation In YOUR Home

Upon graduation, your puppy will be delivered to you at your home where you will receive a private behavior consultation with Jenn to demonstrate all that your puppy has learned. This session will teach YOU how to be the trainer and will allow plenty of time for you to get all your questions answered. *If you live outside of Happy Hounds service area, your completion consultation will take place at the trainer's home or you can request delivery for an additional charge.

Follow-Up Session

10-15 days after your puppy graduates from Board and Train, Jenn will visit you at your home to make sure that things are going GREAT and answer any questions that may have come up since your puppy returned home. *If you live outside Happy Hounds service area your follow-up session will take place via phone or virtual consult.

TWO WEEK 'POLITE PUPPY' PROGRAM

Includes a 90-minute completion consult + one 60-minute private session within 15 days of graduation

Your puppy will master foundational obedience commands indoors including name recognition, sit, down, stay, wait/release, kennel up, and targeting.
Polite house manners and expectations for potty training and crate training will be consistently reinforced.

Your puppy will receive optimal opportunities for positive socialization and confidence building in a variety of places.
Potty bells will be introduced upon request to provide your puppy a polite way to ask to go outside.

THREE WEEK 'PERFECT PUPPY' PROGRAM

Includes a 2-hour completion consult + one 75-minute private session within 15 days of graduation

Your puppy will learn everything listed in the two-week program PLUS...
Your puppy will learn to Come when Called every time you ask them to.
Your puppy will know to wait before being released to go in/out of doorways.

Your puppy will learn additional cues as time allows, such as leave it and drop it.
Your puppy will become more reliably potty trained and receive additional socialization opportunities for confidence building.

"Jenn is incredible and profoundly professional. She is clearly very knowledgeable about her profession and loves what she does. Our labradoodle puppy, Milo, went to Jenn when he was 10 weeks old. I was struggling to manage housetraining him and teaching him obedience skills, but within just a few days of being with her, he had already mastered important and more advanced obedience skills.
